Short-Sighted Democrats

In their roadshow to counter President Bush's efforts to promote social security reform, the Democrats are ignoring the wishes of the younger population of this country. They know that such reform is popular among the younger voters, who will be the recipients of such real reform. But it is so important for them to defeat the president on ANY issue, they are ignoring what is best for these young voters and are playing to the fears of the older constituents to defeat any attempt at reform.

It doesn't bode well for the democrats for the future (IF there is a Democrat party in the future). Afterall, it's the older generation that has poor memory. Today's young will remember what the dems are trying to do to them for a LONG time!
