Well, Jimmy Carter didn't get to actually speak at the DNCC after all. At the non-prime hour of 6:30pm Denver time, the dems showed a brief tribute film then brought him and Rosalind out on stage for about as long as it took young Teddy Kennedy to get out of an underwater Oldsmobile.
The minimize-Carter-segment was perhaps the best move on the part of the democrat convention planners on day one.
