German jobless rate at new record

More than 5.2 million Germans were out of work in February, reports BBC News
The figure of 5.216 million people, or 12.6% of the working-age population, is the highest jobless rate in Europe's biggest economy since the 1930s.
This is even highter than the 10% unemployment rate of France. By contrast, as we all know, the unemployment rate of the U.S. is only 5.2%, even lower than it was at the start of Clinton's second term.
